The Yellow Warehouse in Calgary’s historic community of Inglewood was transformed into a spectacular display of Canadian talent this weekend, housing PARKSHOW 2017, one of the city’s most anticipated fashion events of the year.

PARKSHOW is an annual fashion show run by Calgary-based non-profit organization, PARK (Promoting Artists Redefining Kulture), established to promote and support local emerging artists and designers and connect them with fashion and the creative community.

In celebration of Mode Model’s 30th anniversary, PARKSHOW Mode30 was a special runway show that took place over two nights, with two unique lineups of some of Canada’s most promising emerging designers. PARKSHOW Market also ran all weekend, giving guests the opportunity to shop over 40 Canadian vendors before, during and after the runway shows.[rev_slider alias=”parkshow-2017″]Set to electronic sounds by local DJ, Mikey Da Roza, Friday was an incredible evening showcasing the work of fresh, Canadian designers LUXX Ready to Wear & Indicity, S.P. Badu, Alex S. Yu, House of Nonie, Urbanovitch and Rad Hourani. Equally as impressive, Saturday night kicked off with U.N.I. Co, Seed, and Malika Rajani, followed by Lennard Taylor, Kate Hewko, YEAR of the RAM, Suka Clothing and Gypsy Soul.

Both evenings offered guests the perfect blend of edgy, urban designs and more romantic, intimate pieces. Thank you PARK, for a wonderful weekend celebrating Canadian fashion, art, and culture. We are so excited for next year’s show and for PARKLUXE this fall.
